The music video to this song can be a bit distracting if your listening to it for the first time. But this song would be perfect for the new upcoming Josh Schwartz teen soap, "Gossip Girl." I'd like to even wager a little something that it makes it onto the show's soundtrack by the end of the first season.

I remember seeing "Lonely People" as a poem on "Def Poetry Jams." I was so excited to find out that it was made into a song. However, it was never made into a music video. They could make up for that by using it in the indie drama "Half Nelson."
